Roommate paranoia

I am not living alone anymore. A little few months ago, the landlady of my apartment asked me to merge with someone because of some business issues. Apparently, they are one of those economically affected by this pandemic (plus other reasons).

So my new roommate is a guy. I don’t want to further describe him because I don’t want the story to revolve around himself but on the situation ONLY. He is cool and we are friends. I just want to express this anxiousness I am feeling for days now.

This anxiety is because of his confession last week. He just told me that a month before we moved in our current unit, he was sick –colds, fever and all. He said it himself that he somehow experienced all the symptoms of the virus. He further said that he was under medication that actually costed him a lot.

It came to me as a shock of course. I expressed my concern if he is okay now and he replied that he is. His joke about that maybe all of us already have the virus and we are just asymptomatic made me feel more anxious.

Seriously, I feel dumb. I am spraying alcohol everywhere. I am even spraying all the things that I am touching or sitting or holding – before and after. That is also one of the reasons now that I do not want to go home anymore, I am afraid that I will be the one to transfer the virus to my family.

Just to make things clear, I don’t feel sick. I am just being extra careful. Well now maybe I am being modified enhance extra careful with Vitamin C plus complex. Lol.

It is more than a month now actually of sharing the same unit, a week since he told me his story, and few days since paranoid Graymand. He didn’t show any sign or symptoms though since he moved in. I hope it was not the virus or whatever. I hope he is completely healed. I hope the whole world heals as soon as possible. Bless us all.
